THURSDAY 26TH OCTOBER

Waka Paddling

Ōtākaro Avon River

This 1-hour waka paddling experience is a cultural journey of the Ōtākaro Avon River. Experience the team building of paddling, and learn about the importance of the waka to the early Māori culture.

Delegates are to make their own way to the meeting point at 794 Colombo Street, cnr Colombo and Oxford Terrace for a 16.30 sharp start. 

Kai & Whisky Tour

Welcome to the world of whisky from Scotland, Ireland, America, Japan and more. With over 750 whiskies in its store, you'll get to enjoy a select bunch, with delicious canapes served post tasting. 

The best way to discover the world of whisky is to tryit first hand and Whisky Galore pride themselves onbeing able to pair folk with their perfect dram. Delegates are to make their own way to the Whisky Galore at 834 Colombo Street, Christchurch for a 19.00 start.



FRIDAY 27TH OCTOBER

Walking Tour

Walk Christchurch

Explore Christchurch with a 90-minute walking tour around the city. Visit cultural sites, historic landmarks, and the stunning city surrounds with a local guide whilst learning about the Māori Culture.  The walking route will outline the development of the city over the last 150+ years as well as providing some focus on the impact of the 2010-11 earthquakes on the city landscape and the emergence of a modern post earthquake city.

The route of the walk enables the group to view many of the major early buildings as well as the modern architecture of the post earthquake buildings and the associated landscape.



SUNDAY 29TH OCTOBER

Mountain Biking

Christchurch Adventure Park

Delegates are required to source their own way to and from the Adventure Park.

End the conference with the adrenalin packed Christchurch Adventure Park. Get the chair lift to the top of the Mountain where you will begin your mountain bike ride through the Christchurch Port Hills. From sweeping intermediate trails for the next step up, epic world class jump tracks for those who crave air and hand built technical trails for the experts among us. 

Cost includes bike rental, including lift pass and all protective gear (Helmet, Knee Pads, Elbow Pads & Gloves). The Christchurch Adventure Park bike rental fleet includes the Giant Glory in various sizes. The bikes were specifically chosen for the Park's terrain and they are checked after every rental.
