Prof Jon Cole

Dr. Cole is a dedicated emergency medicine physician at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC), where he provides evidence-based care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Guided by a deep commitment to patient-centered care, he strives to deliver the best possible clinical outcomes while addressing the human dimensions of pain, suffering, and illness.

With a special focus on medication safety and the treatment of substance use disorders, Dr. Cole integrates compassion with clinical precision in his practice. As the Medical Director of the Minnesota Regional Poison Center, he oversees a wide range of medical toxicology services, ensuring comprehensive care for patients across the full spectrum of toxicological emergencies.



A/Prof Tina Noutsos

Professor Tina Noutsos is Head of Global and Tropical Health at Menzies School of Health Research, Senior Haematologist at Royal Darwin Hospital, and Vice President of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion.

Her research focuses on blood transfusion for First Nations and rural and remote populations, snakebite, thrombotic microangiopathies, and point of care testing. She also holds key leadership roles in medical education and clinical governance across the Northern Territory.
