Day 1: Arrival in Sandakan – Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort

You will be greeted by our local driver and onward transfer to Borneo Sepilok Rainforest Resort. Check into you room and the rest of your day is free at own leisure.

Day 2: Sepilok Orangutan Rehab Centre & Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre – Land Transfer to Bilit Adventure Lodge [Sharing Basis]

After breakfast, ready for check out and head to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. There, you'll be treated to an enlightening video show about the conservation efforts done at the centre. Enjoy a ten-minute walk in the midst of the rainforest and witness the feeding of orangutans at the feeding platform before observing them over at the outdoor nursery. Thereafter, head to the Sun Bear Conservation Centre next door after to learn more about the smallest bears in the world.  

After lunch, depart for an estimated 2-hours overland journey to Bilit Adventure Lodge.  

Arrive at Bilit around 1430hrs, check into your accommodation. By 1530hrs, have afternoon tea with some local bites. After a short briefing by the nature guide, take an afternoon cruise along the Kinabatangan River (Sabah’s longest river at 560km) where you can observe wildlife on the boat itself. Dinner & overnight stay at Bilit Adventure Lodge.

Day 3: River Cruises – Bilit Adventure Lodge [Sharing Basis]

Wake up early in the morning to start the day with an early river cruise at about 6:00-AM. After the 1-hour boat cruise, proceed back to Bilit Lodge for breakfast. Late morning, depart for a guided nature jungle walk to experience the riverine forest. Trek back to Bilit Lodge, freshen up, have lunch. Take a short siesta before enjoying the afternoon tea break at a local house. By 1600hrs, get ready for another afternoon river cruise to a different part of the river to see more wildlife. Dinner and another night at Bilit Adventure Lodge.

Day 4: Departure to Sandakan Airport

Pick up from the hotel, and adjourn land transfer to Mersing Jetty will take approximately 4-5 Hours. Upon arrival at the Mersing Jetty, head over to Rawa Island Resort Reservation Office, Mersing.

There are a Conservation fee needs to be paid at the Mersing Harbour Centre – MYR 50 per adult and MYR 25 per child.

After registering yourself at the reservation office, catch the 30-minutes boat ride to Rawa Island Resort. Spend the rest of your day relaxing at the beach.

Note: Fishing, Jet-skiing activities and littering are prohibited on the island.

Day 2 – 3: Free and Easy in Rawa Island

Day 4: Departure to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) 

After breakfast, ready for check out and hop on board for your boat transfer returning to the mainland. Upon arrival at Mersing Jetty. Onward 4-5 hours land transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to catch your flight.

Pick up from the hotel and begin your journey to Lumut Jetty. The drive will take approximately 4 to 5 hours. Upon arrival at the jetty, you will proceed with boat registration. The boat ride to Pangkor Laut Resort will take approximately 20 minutes. Check into your room and the rest of your day is free and easy.

Day 2 – Day 3: Free and Easy in Pangkor Island

After breakfast and checking out, you will take scheduled boat transfer back to mainland (Lumut Jetty), Upon reaching at Jetty, you will be picked up and transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to catch your flight.
