Afternoon Adventure to Kuala Lumpur

Monday 6 July

We will be collected immediately after lunch to head off for a group afternoon/evening excursion.

After approximately 90 min of travel, we will arrive at the legendary Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, home to the world's finest pewter.

Here, we will roll up our sleeves at the School of Hard Knocks.  We will be split into 3 groups, and whilst one group is learning how to hammer, stamp and shape their own pewter dish using traditional tools, the other groups will have the opportunity to explore the Science discover gallery and Museum, or to get a photograph next to the giant Tankard!

We then head to the awe-inspiring Batu Caves, one of Malaysia's most iconic attractions.

Here you will get to see the towering 42.7m golden statue of Lord Murugan, and then climb the vibrant 272 steps to explore the sacred limestone cave temples filled with Hindu shrines, colourful murals and a touch of jungle magic.

As the sun begins to set, we will depart Batu Caves and head to a local dinner venue where we can enjoy a relaxed meal.

Then the transfer back to the resort, with expected return time around 9.30pm - ready for bed!
