call for abstracts

ABSTRACT DEADLINE: MIDNIGHT AEST, MONDAY 29 JULY 2024

IMPORTANT NOTE:  There will be NO extension to the abstract deadline.  This is in line with ANZSPED policy to strictly adhere to deadline dates.

ANZSPED invites submissions of abstracts to showcase and celebrate the work that has come to fruition since the last Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM). This is intended to be inclusive of new research that may have been published in the time since the last ANZSPED ASM.Research that has already been presented locally (i.e. at an Australasian meeting) will generally not be eligible. Work that was published in manuscript form prior to the last ANZSPED meeting is also ineligible.

Abstracts can be submitted as a General Abstract or Emerging Investigator Abstract.

Abstracts in each of these categories with the highest scores after review will be selected for Oral Presentation. The next highest scoring abstracts will be assigned for presentation as Speed Posters with the remainder of those accepted to be presented as posters. The number of abstracts accepted into these categories may vary from year to year. Industry led research will only be offered a poster presentation.
