The Alice Springs Convention Centre (ASCC) is a modern, fresh alternative for conferences and incentives in the NT. With an abundance of natural light and spectacular views of the MacDonnell Ranges, the ASCC signifies Alice Springs and reminds you that you are in a wonderful outback location. The Centre boasts state of the art facilities, professional friendly service and offers delegates the opportunity to experience the true essence of the outback.
The ASCC is well located within Alice Springs and is in close proximity to the Todd St Mall, art galleries, cultural centres and a variety of accommodation options to suit all budgets.

DESTINATION

The traditional custodians of Alice Springs are the Arrernte people and have made Alice Springs and surrounding areas their home for thousands of years. Evidence suggests that Indigenous occupation of Alice Springs dates back at least 30,000 years. The Aboriginal name for Alice Springs is Mparntwe. Arrernte country is rich with mountain ranges, waterholes and gorges with many traditional dream time stories being formed by the caterpillars, wild dogs and other figures shaping the landscape. There are many amazing natural sites that are of traditional importance and are popular with tourists throughout Alice Springs including the East and West MacDonnell Ranges, Mt Gillen, Billy Goat Hill, Standley Chasm and Simpson's Gap.

Alice Springs offers something for everyone and all sorts of travellers whether you are adventurous or enjoy eating out and taking a stroll. The main street of Alice Springs, the Todd St Mall, offers a mix of Australiana cafes and shops, art galleries with an array of traditional Aboriginal art in all forms, souvenir shops,  restaurants and cafes for all palates and ages.

Located in the centre of Australia, Alice Springs is a natural base for those wishing to explore central Australia. There are many tour companies within Alice Springs that will happily assist you with organising a tour or assist you in planning your self-drive tour of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park or surrounding areas.

Alice Springs is a one of a kind destination for many reasons not just the fact that the only access road lies on 'the gap' between the MacDonnell Ranges.
