APAMT Travel Grant
The Asia Pacific Association of Medical Toxicology is pleased to offer travel grant awards every year. The travel scholarship awards are given to outstanding researchers who are currently conducting research in toxicology and are financial members of APAMT.
Applicants must be from Asia Pacific region with preference given to those from a Low or Low-Middle Income Countries*
- Application for the award must be submitted together with an abstract to the APAMT Program Committee for evaluation and consideration.
- Applicants will be judged on the merits of the scientific quality of their submitted abstracts as well as having fulfilled other stated criteria.
- Successful applicants will be notified by email from the Congress Organisers.- Scholarship winners are required to attend the APAMT 2025 Conference in Gold Coast, Queensland from the 18 – 20 November 2025 to make an oral presentation of their submitted studies.
One grant will be awarded per year.
An applicant must not have received a scholarship from APAMT in the last 3 years.
All Applications must include:
- Abstract
- Current CV
- A Letter of Support of Endorsement from your institution
*LIC and LMIC – as per World Bank Group country classification by income level
NIHR RIGHT4 Preventing Deaths from Acute Poisoning in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMIC), Scholarships
Under this global health project NIHR RIGHT4 are pleased to offer 5 scholarships to applicants from LMIC in South East Asia who are accepted by APAMT for oral or poster presentations.
- Application must be submitted together with an abstract to the APAMT Program Committee for evaluation and consideration.
- An applicant must not have received a scholarship from APAMT in the last 3 years.
- Applicants will be judged on the merits of the scientific quality of their submitted abstracts as well as having fulfilled other stated criteria.
- Successful applicants will be notified by email from the Congress Organisers.- After the applicant is successfully accepted to present at APAMT 2025,
the selection of applicants for this scholarship will be made by this NIHR
Project Faculty
- Scholarship winners are required to attend the APAMT 2025 Conference in Gold Coast, Queensland from the 18 – 20 November 2025 to make an oral presentation of their submitted studies.
- The value of the travel component of the scholarship is maximum of $1000 USD/£800 GBP only and complimentary full conference registration. All expenses must be paid up front, and claimed back to NIHR.
- Applicants successfully awarded this scholarship, are responsible for their travel insurance, visa applications and any other arrangements to attend the conference
