Merryn Gott is Professor of Health Sciences at the School of Nursing, The University of Auckland. She co-directs the Te Ārai Palliative and End of Life Care Research Group with Dr Tess Moeke-Maxwell. The group work within a framework developed by the Te Arai Kahui Kaumātua (Māori elder advisory group) and have a commitment to social justice and promoting health equity.
