Associate Professor Amy Keir (MBBS, MPH, FRACP, PhD) is the SA Ambulance Chief Medical Advisor and a Senior Consultant Neonatologist at Flinders Medical Centre. Her previous roles have included being the Head of Unit of MedSTAR kids, the neonatal and paediatric retrieval service in South Australia. Amy has consistently been a strong advocate for Palliative Care teams working closely with Neonatal teams to provide high-quality and holistic care to babies and families needing this type of care.

Amy has spent many years working in neonatal intensive care units in South Australia and Canada, as well as in the aeromedical/transport environment. Her experiences in neonatal palliative care as a Consultant Neonatologist, coupled with her ongoing work in transport medicine, give her a unique perspective on these areas.
