Dr Jackie Robinson is an Associate Professor and Nurse Practitioner in the School of Nursing at the University of Auckland. She has over 25 years’ experience in palliative care working in the acute hospital setting and more recently in residential aged care settings. She has contributed to Ministry of Health policy work having been Chair of the Ministry of Health Palliative Care Nursing Workforce Group and a member of the Palliative Care Advisory Group.
She currently sits on the Support and Consultation for End of Life in NZ group. Dr Robinson has published extensively in her area of research which focuses on equity and social justice in palliative and end of life care.
