Dr Jenny Mckney holds both an academic appointment as a lecturer in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy (UON) and a clinical position at JHH as a Respiratory Scientist and Clinical Physiotherapy Specialist in the perioperative service. She is a key member of the multidisciplinary team performing laboratory-based exercise testing at John Hunter Hospital and working to optimise functional capacity in people prior to surgery.

been an anaesthetist and intensive care physician at Western Health, Melbourne,
Australia since 2008. Forbes is also an Associate Professor (Medicine) at the
University of Sydney, and the University of Melbourne. Forbes has been widely
published on the impact of healthcare on the environment.

Dr Vanessa Beavis is the Immediate Past President of ANZCA, having just completed her 2 year term as President. Vanessa is a specialist anaesthetist at Auckland City Hospital, New Zealand. She is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Department of Anaesthesiology at Auckland University. She is a liver transplant anaesthetist and while not doing that, is focussed in improving the perioperative outcomes for patients.
Dr Ramsey Awad Ramsey is currently the Executive Director of Infrastructure & Planning for Hunter New England Health, which is one of Australia’s largest Health services covering the geographical area of the UK with over 80 facilities. His qualifications include a PhD in health & medicine, Bachelor degrees in architecture and construction management and executive training from the Harvard and Cambridge Business Schools.
