Abstracts are invited for submission for presentation at the 2022 Newcastle Anaesthesia Conference (theNAC), being held in Newcastle from the 24th - 25th June 2022. The deadline for submissions is midnight Monday 30th May 2022.
At the time of submitting your abstract the data must not have already appeared in print (data may have been accepted for publication). If the research presented was supported by a commercial organisation, a statement identifying this support may be requested.
Authors should indicate whether ethics approval was received or waived unless the work describes a quality improvement project or innovation. In addition to research presentations, we encourage the submission of works in progress, descriptions of educational endeavours including evaluation reports, and work describing new ideas or concepts.
This year abstracts will only be accepted as posters.
Presenting authors must attend the meeting and pay the relevant registration fee. You will have the option of attending in person or virtually. Once you submit your abstract, you will have the ability to go directly to the registration site.
The title should be brief, but adequate to clearly identify the nature of the study and must be in UPPER CASE. Abstracts will be BRIEF this year with only 150 words allowed to be submitted. All submitted abstracts should be a summary of the results/key outcomes of research. The committee will contact the presenting author of the abstract should they require any more information about the abstract. Authors should also advise of 3 key references during the submission process.
Please click on the button below to be taken to the abstract submission site. You will be required to log into the site. If you have already registered for the conference, then you can use the same account you created to register. If you have not yet registered, you need to create an account. This can be done through the abstract submission site and you will be given the opportunity to register for the meeting after submitting your abstract.
