MEMBERSHIP
Categories
(a) Ordinary Members
Registered medical specialists and practitioners who are working predominately with children and adolescents who work in the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) and are current in their subscription. Ordinary members are eligible to vote and be elected to Executive.
(b) Associate Members
Registered medical specialists and practitioners who are working predominately with children and adolescents outside of the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) and are current in their subscription. Associate members are not eligible to vote nor be elected to Executive.
(c) Retired Members
Ordinary and Associate Members who have fully retired* from practice can continue as retired members by informing the Executive in writing of their change in circumstance. A new member who is retired will be required to pay the joining fee. There is no annual membership for retired members. Retired ordinary members are eligible to vote. Retired associate members are not eligible to vote. No retired member is eligible to be elected to Executive.* Full retired means that you are no longer receiving an income from medicine.
* fully retired means that you are no longer receiving an income from medicine.
