INVITATION TO ATTEND

On behalf of the organising committee, it gives me great pleasure to invite you to attend the 2018 Australian and New Zealand Society of Palliative Medicine Conference. 
 
This biennial conference will welcome world-class speakers and local experts to Sydney’s Manly Beach, to explore concepts around the theme New Frontiers. I am delighted to announce our international keynote speaker is Thomas Le Blanc MD, sharing his insights around the interface of palliative care and haematology. 
 
Palliative Medicine specialists and trainees, general practitioners and other medical practitioners with an interest in Palliative Care are encouraged to attend and participate in a meeting that will challenge, inspire and encourage new practice in palliative care. 
 
Over four days, attendees will have the opportunity to attend workshops, plenaries and concurrent sessions, in addition to connecting with exhibitors and networking and socialising with your peers. The program includes a diverse range of topics considering opportunities for telehealth in palliative care; palliative care in organ transplantation; exercise and re-ablement; new frontiers in pharmacology; integrated palliative care in non-malignant disease; and much more.
