Dr Ruben Thanacoody, UK
Dr Ruben Thanacoody is a consultant physician and clinical toxicologist at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology, Newcastle University, UK. He is the Medical Director of the Regional Drugs and Therapeutics Centre, Director of the UK National Poisons Information Service (Newcastle unit) and UK Teratology Information Service.
His main research interests are adverse drug reactions and optimization of antidote treatments in poisoning.
Dr Sahaphume Srisuma, MD
Dr. Srisuma is a physician certified in Medical Toxicology, Internal Medicine, and Occupational Medicine in Thailand.
He earned his medical degree and completed an internal medicine residency training at Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. He received advanced training in medical toxicology through a fellowship at Rocky Mountain Poison & Drug Center, Colorado, United States. He further completed training in Occupational Medicine at Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital.
Sahaphume Srisuma, M.D. is an assistant professor and medical consultant of Ramathibodi Poison Center. Ramathibodi Poison Center receives consultation from all regions of Thailand, and sometimes from neighborhood countries.
Dr. Srisuma is a fellowship director of Clinical Pharmacology and ToxicologyProgram at Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital. He is also a course coordinator of Toxicology courses for residency training and medical student training.
Dr. Srisuma has delivered numerous national and regional invited lectures, and published several of academic articles.
