Flights

You are responsible for booking your own flights into Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) Airport or making your way to the mainland reception (if not flying).  You will be asked to provide your flight/arrival details to the conference secretariat no later than 6 weeks prior to the conference (or at the time of registration) so that transfers can be arranged for you.  If you fail to provide your flight details, transfers will not be organised and you will be responsible for making your own way to the mainland reception.  Transfer costs are included in your registration fee, unless you fail to provide your flight details by the deadline.  

If you have others with you who are NOT registered for the Conference, then you will need to book their bus transfer which is $20 return per adult, and $10 return per child  

Ferry

A ferry direct to the resort departs River Head, Hervey Bay at regular times during the day.

Departing River Head to Island, scheduled times are:
6.45am, 9.00am, 1.00pm and 3.30pm *

Departing Island to River Head, scheduled times are:
7.50am, 10.30am, 2.30pm, 5.00pm *

Ferry transfers are included for all registered persons. If you have others travelling with you who are NOT registered for the conference, the cost per person for return ferry transfers is $55 per adult or $25 per child (4-14 years).

Secure Parking

Secure car park facilities are adjacent to to the resorts River Heads Mainland Reception and are open from 08:00-18:30. Upon check-in at Mainland Reception, guests will be issued with a secure pin number to gain access to the parking facilities. Bookings are highly recommended and you can request this during the registration process.

Costs are  $20 per day per vehicle.
