Included Activities
During the conference week, there are a number of included activities in the conference program.
4WD Beach Drive
Head off from the resort in one of the custom made 4WD vehicles. Travel to the east side of the island where we join 75 Mile Beach famous highway. We will visit the Maheno Shipwreck and the coloured sands of the Pinnacles with a stop at the end of the day in the refreshing Eli Creek before returning to the resort around sunset.
The exact timing of this half day trip will depend on the tides which we will not know until the end of 2021 and then it will be confirmed if this will be run as a morning or afternoon tour.
Island Cruise
Everyone will head off for a cruise along the Great Sandy Straight where there will be opportunities for swimming and relaxing on the decks. Enjoy the setting sun as we head back to the resort after a relaxing afternoon.
Lake McKenzie
What a way to end the week. Everyone will head off to Lake McKenzie
where we will serve lunch and provide the afternoon to swim in the
crystal clear waters of the Lake.

Friday 22 April
There is the opportunity to join a ranger-lead walk and talk from the resort. The walk would include discussion of bush foods.
Duration 2-3 hours. Moderate fitness required.
Cost $25 per person.
Tour operates on the basis of minimum and maximum numbers.
