WORKSHOPS

RESUS WORKSHOP

The PANNZ Cardiac Arrest workshop involves hands-on simulation exercises and debriefing discussions designed to achieve specific objectives of the ANZCA CPD Cardiac Arrest Emergency Module. A certificate of completion will be issued. 
 
Though most of the principles of cardiac arrest in children are similar to adults, there are some very important differences and challenges. There are also important differences in aetiology and conduct of cardiac arrest in the operating room environment.
 
Participants will care for children of different ages in a simulated operating room or recovery area, working in teams and within their scope of practice..  These workshops will be accredited as 'Emergency Response Activities' by ANZCA.

Cost of workshop:  $172.50 per person.

CICO WORKSHOP

The PANNZ CICO workshop will be an ANZCA approved emergency response module. It will be designed for adult and paediatric application. The conduct of the course will comply with ANZCA requirements. There will be didactic and hands-on components. There will be required reading prior to attending the workshop which will be sent to you approximately 1 week prior to the conference date. You will receive a certificate of attendance with approval code at the conclusion of the workshop.

Cost of workshop:  $172.50 per person
