Arm yourself with the tools you need to craft a synopsis that best captures the essence of your work!
If there's anything that makes a writer turn pale, it's having to write a synopsis. Distilling your thousands of carefully crafted words onto one A4 page. Yet publishers and agents (bless them) will ask for them. Expect them. Demand them. Which means that, sinister as it is, the synopsis is a thing that has to be done. You CAN slay the beast. There's a formula to help - and you'll learn it in this workshop. The tools to produce a synopsis that will SING to editors and publishers.
Pam is the author of over 250 books for children and young adults as well as TV scripts, documentaries, short stories and freelance journalism. Pam has been an advertising copywriter, teacher and producer of educational television, audio and multimedia. She has won many awards, including the NSW Premier's Ethel Turner Prize, nine CBCA Notable Books - and a bag of gold coins at a film festival in Iran! Pam believes the strangest, most riveting, heart-breaking, laugh-out-loud stories aren't fiction. They're real. They come from history. And she loves tripping over unusual incidents from history - and then writing about them.
