catherine evans

Catherine writes in two sub-genres of romance. Rural romance because that’s sensible after a career in agricultural research. However, as Cate Ellink, writes erotic romance and explores the shadow side of life that is often frowned upon. Cate gave Catherine the freedom to explore the woo-woo world that science struggles to explain, opening a whole new world to explore.

Fortune and Fiction

Creative writing taps into your intuition, the inventive part of your mind. Sometimes you can get stuck. Tarot and Oracle cards can help move beyond that blockage by tapping into your intuition in a different way.

There are thousands of different Tarot and Oracle decks of cards, all using imaginative and creative symbols, colours, and themes. Rather than using these in the traditional ‘fortune-telling’ manner, you can use them to unlock your imagination, intuition, and the knowledge you have inside.

This session will look at the common meanings of symbols, colours, numbers, and themes. It will look at how you can use Tarot and Oracle cards in spreads to help with story – things like plot, characters, conflict, planning, or problems – and how to interpret the cards, yourself.

No need for any prior knowledge, you have it all inside you.

Time for practical, hands-on, will be included. There will be a bunch of decks to look at and use, but if you have your own, please bring it along. Please also bring a notebook and pen, and in your mind carry any story ideas or blockages you need help with. Join in a fun workshop to help unlock your creativity.
