New York Times and USA Today bestseller, B.J. Daniels writes what she knows growing up in Montana. Published by Harper Collins/Harlequin, she loves a good mystery and works to keep her readers quickly turning the pages. Montana, the state she loves, is one of the characters in her books.
An English major, she began her writing career at the Bozeman Daily Chronicle before she sold her first short fiction to Woman’s World magazine. She went on to sell over 40 more short stories, before she wrote and sold her first book, ODD MAN OUT, in 1994.
Since then, she has written over 125 books, writing every day. Her books have made the New York Times, USA Today bestseller and Publishers Weekly lists along with winning numerous awards.
She now makes her home in Malta, Montana. She attributes her success to her love of writing and the support of her husband, Parker, who is her true hero.
Her latest book, DARK SIDE OF THE RIVER (July 26, 2023), is set in the Powder River Basin of eastern Montana. It’s the story of two warring ranch families, one run by patriarch Holden McKenna and the other by his former lover, matriarch Charlotte Stafford.
