INCLUSIONS IN PRICE

For delegates:

  2. 10 nights accommodation on board the ship (twin/double share)
  3. 2 nights accommodation in local hotel in Longyearbyen (pre and post cruise)

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

  • Airfare to/from Longyearbyen
  • Visa and passport fees (if applicable)
  • Items of a personal nature
  • Soft Drinks and alcoholic beverages other than special events
  • Travel Insurance
  • Pre or post-cruise travel expenses

THIS CONFERENCE IS FOR:

  • Anyone who is has the Arctic on their bucket list
  • The adventurous traveler 
  • Many of the walks and activities are rated as moderate. If you wish to participate in the activities as listed, you will need to be able to walk over rugged terrain and walk up to 2 hours. You will need to be able to get in/out of a Zodiac with winter gear.

You can join the trip and chose not to particpate in all the walks and activities. There are plenty of way to relax on board the ship.

PAYMENT:

  • Credit card surcharge of 2.2% for Visa, MasterCard and AMEX 
  • Via direct bank transfer (details on invoice after registration)

Terms

    • $5,000 deposit (per cabin) within 21 days of booking to hold your cabin 
    • 50% of remaining fare by 10 June 2022
    • Balance of fare by 15 February 2023

CANCELLATIONS*

-  50% of deposit lost if cancelled by 1 June 2022
-  Loss of monies paid if cancelled between 2 June 2022 and before 15 February 2023
-  Loss of monies paid to date if cancelled after 15 February 2023

-  If the cabin can be resold, then any fees will be paid, less $500 (+ GST) administration fee.

* cancellation policy outlined above does not apply to those originally booked on the 2021 cruise.  Separate details have been sent to those who were registered for 2021, and subsequently moved to 2023.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

All guests must have travel/health insurance. In case of a medical emergency outside Longyearbyen the only means of evacuation is by helicopter to Longyearbyen Hospital. If any condition cannot be treated here, the patient is sent to the Norwegian mainland. This is very expensive and dependent on favourable weather conditions, therefore, comprehensive travel/health insurance that also covers medical evacuation is essential.

It is advised that you book travel insurance as soon as you have paid your registration fee.
