There will be a short workshop on the use of the intra-osseous needle for emergency circulatory access, which will cover indications, contra-indications and complications. Manikins will be available for candidates to practice the technique of intraosseous needle insertion. Several of the common brands of intraosseous needle will be available for the candidates to try.
