- You must submit 3 case studies, in the form of an abstract, on 3 of the 10 designated topics (see below) for consideration. Only ONE case study per topic is allowed. Please discuss cases with your consultant, to determine their suitability, before submission
- You may be requested to submit a fourth case on a designated topic, to enhance the variety of cases
- All details must be written in English
- Each abstract should be limited to 400 words (i.e. one paragraph summary)
- Submissions should be written in the following format with the 2 subheadings - Case (relevant history, examination, investigations) and Issues to be discussed
- Up to 3 key articles should be submitted - these can be any 3 paediatric endocrinology or diabetes paper/publication that you have read in the last 12 months that you feel has had an impact on the way in which you think or practice. Alternatively an article that you just think is significant enough to warrant a mention and be shared with other ANZSPED members. Key articles will go onto the ANZSPED website and do not have to pertain to the case study you are submitting
- As part of your acceptance to the Fellows’ School, you may be requested to review 1 – 2 pages of the ANZSPED website. During your application, you will be asked to indicate your top 3 areas of interest – these responses will be used to help determine which website pages you may be asked to review. The reviewing request will come directly from the ANZSPED Website Subcommittee and/or Secretariat. The timing for this is likely to be around April – June each year.
- Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee a presentation. Not all Fellows attending the Fellows’ School will be selected to present. You will be notified by email of the outcome of your application.
