We invite you to join us for the conference and stay at Wrest Point!

Wrest Point is located 20 minutes’ drive from Hobart Airport and the location has breath-taking water, mountain and city views. Set in Hobart and with Lords Beach reachable within 600 metres, Wrest Point offers non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk.

Guests also enjoy access to the indoor pool and fitness centre, as well as the sauna and hot tub. At the hotel all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a safety deposit box and a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Wrest Point provides certain units with city views, and every room includes a kettle. The units will provide guests with a fridge.

ACCESSIBLE ROOMS

At this stage, the accessible rooms at Wrest Point have been booked, however the Tower and Water Edge rooms all have walk in showers and have the ability to include shower chairs, non-slip bath mats and toilet chairs if needed. Please add this into the 'special requests' part of your booking during the registration process as the hotel will confirm the booking with those details. If you do not put this into the special requests, we cannot guarantee that there will be a shower chair, non-slip bath mat or toilet chair available.   

The Tower rooms are the closest to the conference spaces, bars and restaurants, and is the most accessible. See the site plan below.


Tower Deluxe

$260.00 per room per night
Across the Harbour, the scenery of Hobart is always changing. From the shift in the sky and roll of the clouds, to the different boats that skip across the water or admire the breath-taking mountain view. The special thing about this space, is the view here makes you feel like you’re practically beside it all, water and mountains. 

Please note the “Tower Deluxe” is any Tower room ranging with a mixture of bedding (1x queen and 1x single, 1x king or 2x king singles), and either harbour or mountain view given the nature of the circular building – subject to availability.

Tower Suite

$390.00 per room per night
The view of your dreams, is real. Be captivated by a sunrise or sunset shimmering over two incredible views that take in the River Derwent. Featuring a separate lounge with couch seating that looks out across two bays of windows, this is the perfect spot to unwind. And if you’re heading out, get ready in the spacious walk-in robes and dressing area provided. Rooms also include an oversized bathroom.


Water Edge Twin

$205.00 per room per night
A short walk indoors from the main Wrest Point Tower, Water Edge overlooks gardens and the River Derwent within our Riviera wing, tucked in behind Lord’s Beach. All Water Edge Twin rooms provide accommodation for three (cots on request) with a queen and single bed. These rooms are appreciated by our guests as they are light, bright and our closest accommodation to the water.


Water Edge King

$205.00 per room per night 
A short walk indoors from the main Wrest Point Tower, Water Edge overlooks gardens and the River Derwent within our Riviera wing, tucked in behind Lord’s Beach. All Water Edge King rooms provide accommodation for two with a king-sized bed. These rooms are just above a walking path that surrounds the property and runs along the foreshore and lawns, connecting to our boardwalk.


Motor Inn

$185.00 per room per night
The Motor Inn Motel is one of Hobart’s best-kept value accommodation secrets and is a short stroll (via undercover walkway) from Wrest Point’s main tower. Situated mountainside, every room places you close to our many popular dining and entertainment options. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and feature, free parking, leafy outlooks and secure card access.

The 3 different options of accommodation are all onsite at Wrest Point, and offer a convenient short walk to the conference venue, bars, restaurants and cafes onsite. Please refer to the map below: 


HOW TO BOOK? 

You can book your accommodation room when registering for the conference. When you complete the online registration form, there will also be a section where you can book the below accommodation options. Any enquiries can be directed to registration@rwausconference.com.au

Booking terms and conditions
All guests will be paying direct to the hotel unless otherwise specified. At the time of booking, a valid credit card must be provided and this will be charged at 30 days prior, for the total of the booking amount. All guests will be responsible for the payment of their own incidental charges unless otherwise specified.

Cancellation
Within 30 days prior to arrival - full cancellation fees apply for all room nights cancelled, and no changes or refunds permitted.

Check-in, Check-out
Please note that check in is after 2pm and check out is before 10am. Guests are welcome to leave luggage with Concierge until check in time or until the conclusion of their conference.

Breakfast 
Breakfast is not included in the above rates. There are multiple options for breakfast within the Wrest Point area.
