Jo Riccioni
Jo Riccioni is a novelist and short story writer. Her first novel, The Italians at Cleat's Corner Store won the International Rubery Award for Fiction in 2015 and was long-listed for the New Angle Prize in the UK.
Her short stories have been published in Best Australian Stories 2010 and 2011, and have been optioned for short film. Her latest novel, the epic fantasy, The Branded, (Pantera, 2022), has its conclusion, The Rising, to be released in October 2023.
When she's not conjuring imaginary worlds, Jo teaches creative writing and sex education, but not at the same time.
