Isla Farr
Isla is 18-years-old and is currently undertaking study at Macquarie University. She has worked on the Tamworth Regional Youth Council and Disability Action Working Group, as a youth and disability advocate, for a number of years as a voice for under-represented people. Her work culminated in receiving the 2022 Young Citizen of the Year for the Tamworth Region.
Isla has written two papers discussing disability in sociology and literature. She has Cerebral Palsy, a type of physical disability that has given her personal insight into disability identity and representation.
