TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

ANZSPED encourages a collegial atmosphere within the Fellows' School so all Fellows are allocated a shared room at the Flinders Cove Motel. As accommodation is limited, all Fellows are required to share. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know.

VENUE

The 2023 ANZSPED Fellows' School will be held at Flinders Hotel.

Located in the historical Mornington Peninsula village of Flinders, is the beautifully restored Flinders Hotel. Just 75 minutes from the city, Flinders Hotel provides the perfect out-of-town setting for the Fellows' School.

The Peninsula room is our fully flexible and versatile events space with an abundance of natural light, fully sound proofed walls and modern AV facilities available.

TRANSFERS

Flinders in the Mornington Peninsula is about a 90 minute drive from Melbourne Airport. ANZSPED will be putting on a bus to transfer Fellows to the venue. Please indicate your arrival details when completing the registration form.

A bus will also transfer all Fellow's from Flinders to the RACV (ASM Venue) on Sunday 19th November at the conclusion of the Fellows' School - you do not need to book in for this. If you are not attending the ASM, you will need to make your own arrangements back to the airport at the conclusion of the meeting.

FELLOWS' ACCOMMODATION

Flinders Cove Motel is located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula across the road from Flinders Hotel where the meeting will be held each day.

All rooms are air-conditioned and include a flat-screen TV, refrigerator, toaster and a microwave. They have an ensuite bathroom and ironing facilities.

FACULTY & INVITED SPEAKERS ACCOMMODATION

Faculty and Speakers for the Fellows' School will stay onsite at the Quarters in Flinders Hotel.

Blending beautifully with the coastal landscape, Quarters is inspired by Flinders. From the carefully selected artworks, to the gourmet breakfast offered daily as part of your room rate or mini bars stocked with local produce.
