The city has a vibrant business, academic and artistic community and is home to nearly 2 million people who live within the city of Perth and its adjoining coastal region. Perth is unlike any other city on Earth. It has a growing first-world Central Business District that sits along the northern bank of the Swan River. The river connects the CBD to the renowned vineyards of the Swan Valley, to the sugar white sands of the Indian Ocean and the iconic beach-side lifestyle. Visitors will find familiarity in the day-to-day conventions of life, yet wonder at the eclectic mix of entertainment, sport and night-life that typify the city. Most leave with a smile and a desire to return knowing they have discovered a destination unique in its mix of youthful optimism and sound commercial foundation.  You don't have to look very far or hard to find an activity or experience to partake in or to see the beauty and greatness that makes Perth what it is.  




THE BELL TOWER

The towering glass spire of The Bell Tower located where Perth meets the Swan River in vibrant Barrack Square, is a touchstone for Australian and international tourists.The Bell Tower is one of the largest musical instruments on earth and was custom built to house the historically significant bells of Saint Martin-in-the-Fields Church, the parish church of Buckingham Palace in Trafalgar Square, London.These bells date back to before the 14th century!The Bell Tower is the only place in the world where you can view bell ringing in action or where you can even have a go at bell ringing yourself in one of their interactive Bell Tower Chiming Experience tours.

KINGS PARK

One of the world's largest and most beautiful inner city parks. It is rich in Aboriginal and European history, contemporary culture and offers innovative design, displays and services. Kings Park has an international reputation for scientific research, leading horticulture, conservation and public education. The Park is home to the spectacular Western Australian Botanic Garden which displays over 3, 000 species of the State's unique flora. Visitors will enjoy sweeping views of the Swan and Canning Rivers, the city skyline and the Darling Ranges. There is an abundance of bushland walk trails, superbly maintained gardens and parklands including a variety of children's discovery play areas. 



CRUISE THE SWAN RIVER

Take in the wonderful sights that can only be viewed from the Swan River as you cruise the calm waters between Fremantle and Perth on a direct return service.Cruise past key sights including Perth’s impressive Bell Tower, the restored Swan Brewery, Kings Park, Royal Perth Yacht Club, the magnificent mansions of Perth overlooking the river and Fremantle’s busy inner harbour.


VISIT FREMANTLE

Located just 30 minutes drive from Perth, Fremantle has something for everyone. 'Freo' as it is affectionately known, has a rich maritime and Colonial history with many great attractions where visitors can learn all about it such as the WA Maritime Museum, the Old Fremantle Prison and the WA Shipwreck Galleries. Fremantle boasts an abundance of shops, boutiques and the Fremantle Markets for those that love to shop. When it's time to have a break, there is a variety of cafes and restaurants to choose from that suit all palates and budgets.
