Senior Manager for Paediatrics, Child and Family Wellness for Western NSW LHD

Tammy O’Connor is a Registered Nurse and Midwife who is passionate about ensuring people who live in rural and remote areas receive quality health care services.

Tammy has been within the health care system for over 19 years.  Most of this time has been spent working within the 1st 2000 days space.  Past achievements include the development of an outreach maternity service which ensured women living in rural and remote locations had access to antenatal and postnatal care within their local community.  For her role within the team, Tammy was awarded the Anthea Kerr Premiers Award in 2018. 

Now working as the Senior Manager for Paediatrics, Child and Family Wellness for Western NSW LHD, Tammy is fortunate to work closely with a number of skilled experts who share the passion and desire to improve the 1st 2000 days of a child’s life within our district.
