Georgia Frolich is a Clinical Nurse Educator for Sydney Local Health Districts, Croydon child and family health nursing team. Georgie has a passion for working with and supporting families. Georgie started her career working with families as a midwife at Royal North Shore Hospital. She then worked as a fertility nurse at IVF Australia. Through her work as a fertility nurse, Georgie was able to support LGBTQIA+ families from the beginning of their parenting journey. Georgie has been working in Child and Family Health Nursing since 2019. Georgie is a trained Sustaining NSW nurse. Through the Sustaining NSW program, Georgie has been able to provide strength based, trauma informed support to families experiencing vulnerability. Georgie has been working with Rainbow Families for the last two years. Through her work with Rainbow Families, she has been able to support LGBTQIA+ families through antenatal parenting education and postnatal support. Georgie has a passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community and strives to educate health professionals on improving care and outcomes for the community.
