SPANZA 2025 ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING

15th - 18th October 2025 | Ayers Rock Resort, Yulara (Uluru)

PALYA!

It is with great delight that we welcome you to the Society for Paediatric Anaesthesia in New Zealand and Australia (SPANZA) Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) 2025 that will be held for the first time in Uluru, Northern Territory. From the 15th until the 18th of October, the ASM will feature insightful plenary sessions that will bridge the gap between tertiary and rural paediatric anaesthetic care.  These sessions will be complemented by clinical workshops that have never previously appeared at SPANZA ASMs that will help fulfill CPD requirements. The program is designed to make the most of your time whilst in Uluru, starting with morning tours and optional workshops, followed plenary sessions and dinners under the desert stars.

We hope to see you and your family in Uluru in 2025!

Ayers Rock Resort, Yulara (Uluru)

When it comes to writing the story of Ayers Rock Resort, it’s hard to know where to begin. Of course, there’s the elephant in the room... or, rather, the giant rock in the desert. Uluru is one of Australia’s most recognised – and respected – landmarks, a place of cultural and spiritual significance.

There’s the host of accommodation options, from a lavish resort to outback camping. There’s more than 100 unique activities, tours, and experiences to mix, match. No two days here are the same. And our story isn’t complete without the characters: the people who make everything happen at Ayers Rock Resort.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

SPANZA would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we gather, the Anangu people, and pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging. We recognise their enduring connection to this sacred land, Uluru, and to all lands, waters, and skies across this region. We honor their continued cultural, spiritual, and educational contributions and respect their profound knowledge and guardianship of these lands.
