Welcome to the Newcastle Anaesthetic Conference (theNAC) which was established in 2012 as the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle, NSW celebrated 21 years of anaesthesia. Nestled in Australia's 7th largest city, rich with history, theNAC has become a cornerstone biennial gathering, drawing over 100 attendees from across NSW and beyond. 

Tailored for anaesthetists, GP anaesthetists, nurses and trainees, the two-day conference offers a dynamic platform for advancing knowledge in contemporary anaesthetic management. Engage with leading speakers, participate in small group sessions, and explore optional workshops including ANZCA CPD Emergency Response series, transthoracic echocardiography and ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia.
